POTPOURRI vol. 2

TRANSFORMERS in BATMAN out!

I am Batman-ed out! So what is Mom to do? Why, bribe of course. So, I had Dave convert David's toddler bed to a full size bed to get him excited about getting new Transformers sheets. Then, set up "My Goal Chart" (practice alphabets, brush his teeth, saying prayers, put toys away, eat meat) and with enough stickers he gets Transformers Flypapers for his wall. So far so good.

My little climber!!David's first purchase. He was so excited! Oh my, learning to shop already!

VICTORIA GARDENS in Rancho Cucamonga:

Pose with Grandpa. That's where I get my smile!!
Pretty pretty ballerina... Happy in Mother's Room at church after being nursed.David showing me his ears & heart that he made in Primary class: "The Holy Ghost speaks to my mind. I will listen & obey."; "The Holy Ghost speaks to my heart. I have a warm feeling when He is near."

Lunch at Denny's Restaurant:

Dad won us a purple swordfish after just 2 tries.

POTPOURRI vol. 1

A glance of moments passed:
The day of my baby blessing & given a name in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I was blessed by the same gentleman that married my Mom & Dad and blessed my brother. My middle name, Perla, is after my grandmother (my Mom's mom); Lola."May I eat baby food now?
Celebrating Lizzy's (my niece-in-law's daughter) belated 3rd birthday. She loves cake & ice cream!

"Yummy, my first ice cream."

"Oh no! My hair's thinning!"

"I love popsicle season!"

"But I don't want to sit on the grass!"

"Are we up to the fire code?" -Celebrating my mother-in-law's 71st birthday.

"Vintage Baby. Aging perfectly. Mom & Dad's special blend" per Aunt Jackie & Uncle John" --Aunt Tish hiding behind me. "But I had to make sure it was edible!" --Celebrating Anthony's (Lizzy's brother) 1st birthday.

"Mom! Zoom in, I think that man behind me might be picking his nose!"
