Snow in Spring ...

Earlier this week I took the kids up to F.F. to play in the snow.  David and Sophia was playing up a storm but for some reason Steven didn't want to play in the snow, however he sure was happy to be near it!  Next time I have to plan better and bring a sled!  Big duh moment on my part.  Oh well, the kids were happy nonetheless.

Oh, by the way, there was a moment that a huge soft chunk of snow that was collecting on a tree fell on top of David.  The sudden impact startled us and David ended up crying saying that it hurt.  I think the surprise scared him more than it actually pained him, because no sooner than a couple minutes later he was laughing and playing in the snow again.  Precious ... my babies ... absolutely precious!

Spring Break Kickoff

David's first week of spring break (almost 2 wks ago) started off by celebrating his best friend's (Marc) birthday at Jump Zone!  Sophia and Steven lucked out and got invited as well.  Needless to say the kiddos had an awesome time!  All the jumping and fun made for an early bedtime that night!  ~Thanks Katia!

Small world ... Marc's uncle happens to be my OB doctor and he and his family was at the party.  I got to show off Steven to him ... baby he delivered!  Cool.  

**I was chatting with the parents (and attempted to read) while the kiddos where on the jumping session so I didn't get any pictures there.

HAPPY 8TH BIRTHDAY MARC!!

March birthdays x 4

Yeap, we celebrated 4 birthdays earlier this month ... my mom, Ms. Evelyn (Lino's mom), Ryan, and Blake.  The initial plan was to celebrate at the beach but it didn't play out due to weather and other circumstances ...maybe next year!  Anyway, we had a pleasant family get-together.  The usual social fun ... food, laughs, pinata, cake, and presents.  ~My brother Neil and his family are coming from the Philippines towards the end of the month, so we'll probably celebrate again!  :)

Belated Valentine's

I know I'm super late but Happy belated Valentine's Day!  Hope you and your loved ones spent a wonderful day together.  ~Sweet little David surprised Dave and I with breakfast at bedside.  I got sausage and water and Dave got sausage, cupcake (Hostess kind), and Coke.  He said he would have given me a cupcake too but we only had one left!  Sooooo cute!

*The kids received a special treat in the mail from my dear friend Arlyn.  A Hello Kitty puzzle that read, "Happy Valentine's Day David, Sophia, and Steven. From Auntie Arlyn" when put together.  Adorable!!  Shooting myself that I didn't get a picture of it before the kids lost some of the pieces.  :(  ~Thanks Arlyn!!

Hello All,

We're still alive and kicking, REALLY!!  I've just been crazy busy (especially in the head) and even busier due to the new calling that I recently received; as Visiting Teacher Coordinator ...details later. 

I'm hoping to play catch up sometime in the middle of next week.
