My thoughtful David

When I picked up David from school this afternoon, he was so excited. He gleamed and told me that he had a surprise for me. He opened his backpack and there was this red purse. He said that he bought it for me. See, the 5th graders at his school were having a fundraiser and were selling things donated by parents. He left home this morning with $3 of his allowance money because he wanted to buy a Pirates of the Caribbean DVD he had seen yesterday. He told me today that the DVD wasn't there anymore and when he saw the purse, he thought of me and so he bought it. What a sweet little guy! I'm choked up again writing about it!! Needless to say, I've got a new favorite purse!! ... and Santa is definitely going to hear about this very thoughtful GOOD boy!!
